Living room at Belgrave property

Clifton Gardens, Little Venice

This project came as a referral from our other project with MWAI in Clifton Gardens, Little Venice.

The first floor one bedroom flat was fully refurbished, stripped back to brickwork, improved layout, new electrics and plumbing. The apartment was created for a professional couple as their London pied a terre, their main home being outside of London.

Entering the apartment facing towards the front of the house is an open plan living space. The sitting room to the left focuses on natural light and the view to the front of the property and a metal and black stone gas fireplace set within the original chimney breast which was reconfigured to house it. A Fior di Bosco hearth runs the full length of the space and the Peltrox skirting detail echoes that of the kitchen opposite.

The Lanserring kitchen runs down the opposite wall with the lower units running as furniture next to the dining table. These are hand painted with a stone worktop, featuring Peltrox splash backs and skirting. Towards the rear are floor to ceiling units housing all white goods hidden behind grey stained timber veneer. This unit forms a pod housing further storage and cloakroom facilities next to the front door.

The bathroom is directly opposite the cloakroom and is detailed with a marble hexagonal mosaic, a Catalano toilet, a solid stone basin by TCC Whitestone Portugal with vanity unit by Margreiter and the fittings are by Fantini with an antique bronze finish.

The master bedroom is at the rear of the property overlooking the communal Little Venice Gardens. Ample storage is provided within floor to ceiling joinery which disguises the entrance from the living room.

The client was very happy with the finished project.
